The summer course aims to offer a general overview of the concept of acquis communaitare and issues of legislation approximation with a special focus on the approximation steps of EU regulations, directives and decisions. Moreover, approximation of the Albanian legislation will be of particular importance. With regard to the participants’ background, the summer course will analyse the approximation of Albanian legislation with particular fields of EU legislation. Also, it is foreseen in the summer course the organisation, after frontal and interactive lectures with speakers, of 4-hour parallel roundtables (10-15 participants) at the end of each week with heterogeneous groups of participants (students, post-graduate students, professionals, specialists at the Public Administration, Municipality, Prefecture, etc.) chaired by members of the Chair and Guest speakers. There are also foreseen uses of innovative teaching methodologies (including presentations, interactive teaching, case discussions, brainstorming roundtables in seminars, etc.) as well as writing short essays. At the end of the course, a questioner is foreseen to assess the students and also as a quality control questioner on the teaching staff.
Lecturers will be held by Chair Holder, members of the teaching staff and highly expert guest speakers facilitated by the chairholder and teaching staff. The summer course will also serve as a forum for discussion between the participants. At the end of each summer course participation certificates will be awarded after the final exam.
